Jim is a CFP® professional and a Investment Advisor Representative of LPL Financial. He is a native of Pittsburgh, graduating from Fox Chapel High School in 1975. He then graduated with honors from Princeton University in 1979, and from there, he went on to receive his MBA in Finance and Accounting from UCLA in 1982.
Jim has been in the industry servicing clients in financial services for over 30 years. He began his career working with an international investment firm, Scudder, Stevens and Clark. He was an advisor with Raymond James for over 30 years prior to joining LPL. In 2020, Jim was recognized as one of the top advisors in the state of Pennsylvania by Forbes Magazine.
Jim has been active in numerous community organizations over the years. He was the co-founder and President of the FC Youth Foundation for 5 years and has also served as a member of the Board of Directors at The Pittsburgh Field Club for 9 years. Jim has served on the Fox Chapel School District Budget Committee, the Financial Committee at the Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church, as well as the Fox Chapel District Association. He also coached baseball, basketball and soccer in the Fox Chapel area for over 20 years.
Jim and his wife, Patty, reside in the Fox Chapel area.
